ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with profound sadness that we at Optima Strategies announce the passing of our esteemed colleague Paul Gary Bograd. Since Optima's formation in 2014, Paul was an integral part of our team, providing invaluable guidance in strategy and communications.

Paul was a visionary in the field of international communications, specializing in economic policy communications, crisis and risk management, electoral strategies, public and regulatory issues management, institutional brand development, and behavioural economics.

Throughout his illustrious career, Paul served as a senior and principal electoral campaign advisor and strategist for national and presidential elections across the United States, Latin America, Russia, and Southeast Asia, including successful presidential elections in the Republic of the Philippines. His expertise was sought by businesses, corporations, governments, and newly privatized entities facing challenges in brand growth, political landscapes, marketing, sociological and cultural dynamics, crisis and intangible risk management, privatizations, and unsolicited mergers and takeovers.

Paul held a B.S. in Communications from Ohio University and served as the Associate Director of the Institute of Politics at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Beyond his professional achievements, Paul was a mentor, a leader, and a friend. His wisdom, integrity, and dedication left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working with him. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.

Our deepest condolences go out to Paul's sister Sandra, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable life.

Rest in peace, Paul.
